GA Firing Line does IDPA matches on Thursdays. Would anyone want to meet up and shoot a match? I have never done it before but think it would be fun, there is a Mexican place next door for some food and drinks afterwards. It's $15 to participate.
Would anyone be interested in this...
Anyone used 9mm snake shot? With deer season approaching I have been thinking of carrying some. It would go into my Glock 19.
Anyone ever used it? I've heard mixed reviews on reliability. I'm not super concerned about it cycling the action but I would like if it did.
anyone used it lately. I heard a while back they had problems with their .223, but haven't heard anything good or bad in a while.
They have 500 rounds for the same price as wolf gold at adventure outdoors but it comes with an ammo can.
Next time I am able to go to the farm I am going to try out some steel cased ammo in my AR. I have some Tula and some Wold WPA (I think). I dont have high hopes for the Tula but I have shot the Wolf in other guns, not ARs though, and had good luck. I have been trying to buy the brass cased wolf...
What slings are y'all using on your ARs and how and where do you have them mounted?
I am planning on getting this sling:

I have the front QD on the left side of the rail as far back to the receiver as possible and the...
Just saw this. Id be interested to see how this affects accuracy on otherwise stock AKs

Whether it's for SHTF, classes, work, etc....
How do you carry mags and gear? Plate carrier, chest rig, battle belt, pockets, etc.... Post pictures and descriptions.
I'm trying to sort out what set up I want to go with.
My buddy is building up his 1966 Mustang. He took one of "The Jack" lowers from sharps bros/ Spikes (not sure what the deal is on who actually is making them) and modified it to be his shift knob. @dougiemac maybe you could pass this along to your boys over there.
we all know the Korean mags are questionable at best.
What are yalls experiences with Magpul and those clear glock mags?
I want factory for carrying, but would like inexpensive reliable ones for training and range time.
anyome know a local place (near Smyrna) that stocks 10 or 20 round metal or Pmags?
I want to pick up a short mag for shooting off a rest. Will 20 rounders be too long still?
So I got a good deal on a Vortex Sparc AR using a coupon code and a fathers day sale, but they can be had for $199.99 all over the internet. I still plan on picking up a Aimpoint PRO down the road but I think I am going to hold off and try and get a better deal on black friday.
The Sparc AR is...
does anyone have their own steel targets? I've been thinking of getting a silhouette and maybe a few 8-10" circle ones to keep at my inlaws farm to shoot at when I'm down.
Where is a good place to buy? I figure shipping is expensive because of the weight.
Has anyone gone to a metal...
i have a new endplate coming this week. Is there anyone near Smyrna that has the tools and know how to help me properly swap it?
I'm sure I could do it but don't have the tool and I'd rather learn from someone who's done it, especially the staking part.
weve had the threads on dream guns, but what is your realistic dream gun?
I mean a gun you really want that you can actually get and afford, not stuff that is way more than you could ever afford or legally can't own.
Right now, mine would be a Sig 229 elite with rosewood grips.
Has anyone gotten to handle one of these? I think its great how they use the mount for the controls and battery instead of it being wasted space. I also like how it doesnt have much of anything protruding from the body of it.
What do yall think...
ive been shopping around for a new stock. I like the MOE SL stock, but they also have the "k" model that's smaller height wise. It's a bit cheaper which is why I'm actually interested in it.
What pros or cons would there be to the smaller stock?
Here it is...
I was just clicking around looking for deals and saw the Streamlight TLR-1 HL now puts out 800 lumens.
Am I alone in thinking that is too bright for a weapon light? Especially one designed for a pistol. I've never thought any of my 200 lumen lights were too dim.
apparently Mossberg owns CMC and its patents. They are now suing a bunch of companies who make drop-in triggers over patent infringement. This may put some companies out of buisness.
I agree with the article, I hate seeing gun manufacturers feed on each other...
