    Some more 40's

I’ve got a few rounds out of the P229 in .357SIG. Good gun.

    Scope zero

Outstanding! That will pay off huge dividends if something similar happens again.

    Is this the scope? http://www.nikonsportoptics.com/en/nikon-products/product-archive/riflescopes/p-300-blk-2-7x32-bdc-supersub.html

    Scope zero

After you shot with that scope and obtained your Zero, did you record that data? Did you slip the turrets back to 0 and record your stadia lines? If I’m understanding what happened correctly, the scope did what it’s supposed to do and you failed to obtain/record the proper data to allow you to...

    Scope zero

I don’t understand OP’s question. You hit the turret, the settings stayed the same, but your POI has shifted? or You hit the turret, which caused the turret adjustment to move off of your zero to something else, and now you’re wondering why it hit somewhere else? In regards to the size of...

    .357SIG fans

Winchester has ceased production of all .357SIG ammo, according to an industry source of mine. They converted all their .357SIG production over to 9mm. Additionally, Winchester has converted part of their .40S&W line over to 9mm. I found this to be significant, in that Winchester developed...

I had to sit on my hands to avoid commenting on the “breaks”. I’m a bit of a grammar Nazi.

    Cleaning a Sionics NP3-coated BCG

You’ve heard of it by a different name. DLC/Tenifer/IonBond/Melonite, all trades names for the same thing.

    Cleaning a Sionics NP3-coated BCG

I haven’t used a DLC-coated BCG, but I have several firearms and firearm parts that are DLC’ed. Works great on what I’ve used it on, but not 100% sure how well it would work on a BCG. It should work fine, it’s very hard and smooth. The plus that NP3 has the NiB, DLC, TiN and others don’t...

    Muzzle devices

This. That’s why I recommended the Silencerco ASR FH. If you plan on using a specific can on it, then get a flash hider that works with that can. I use Silencerco cans, for the most part, so I use Silencerco devices.

    AR upper

When USMC Force Recon looked at going to something shorter than the 14.5” M4, they looked at a bunch of different lengths and in the end went with the 12.5”.

    EBR-2C MRAD Reticle

I have a Mil-Dot Master, but don’t use it. If I’m using my reticle, I just crunch the numbers with a calculator.

That’s it. I was getting it confused with a density altitude wheel that I have.

    EBR-2C MRAD Reticle

There’s a company that makes a “wheel” for ranging. If you don’t want to do the math, you turn the wheel until you get the correct miles in one window, then it shows you the distance in another window. Can’t think of the manufacturer, and I’m overseas right now so I can’t look at mine.

    EBR-2C MRAD Reticle

Here are all the ranging formulae that I’m familiar with. *Note: The formulae that use "MOA" are using the true MOA of 1.047" at 100yds. The ones using "S-MOA" are using "Shooter's MOA" of 1" at 100yds. You need to know which type of MOA your scope is set up for. Size of Target (yards) x 1000...
