I'm starting to think it may be supposed to be beveled. The mushrooming suck, and it not locking mags in tight...but I noticed the bevel on the rail matches a small bevel on the trunion. Both have a bit of factory pain on them...so maybe it is part of the design- Shemp

Well...I thi k there's a problem with this AMD. It appears the top rail is damaged...the shiny portion pictured is nearly knife sharp. Think it will cause a problem?- Shemp

So I like stamped AKs when they are 450-650. Any more than that and I'd rather get a milled or a Galil. Arsenals kinda dont make sense to me anymore....all because of that Galil.- Shemp

The tanker that it came with has a nice moon stamp but has visible slop between the locking lug and the mag release. I plan to check all of mine once I get home. I'd almost rather just have a new mag catch installed and file it.- Shemp
