I love my Mak. I don't know about you, but I'd get way more use & have way more fun with the Mak 90. Unless you have some sentimental attachment to your gun, I'd do it.

I absolutely loathe brownells website. I like how PSA puts only in stock items first. You know you can stop scrolling when you see the first "out of stock" red text. I like surplus ammo too, if it's on the site, it's in stock.

Not to derail the thread, but I just noticed on Harbor Freight's website that they are "opening a new store every 3 days". Do we really like some cheap Chinese tools so much that when it breaks we just go right back and buy another one? Man, it makes me feel like one of those lab rats on cocaine...

A lot of owners bust their ass for a long time and when things finally get going they start living the good life. Out on the boat or flying around somewhere, while the guys handle things back at the shop. Sometimes things get away from them. I've seen it more than a few times.

Every time I read one of these stories I wonder how they ever got to be so successful without recognizing the need for proper procedures and documentation.

I was bored and picking lint out of mine this morning.

My oldest is 12 and I really never had to worry about him much. Just kept them out of reach. But my almost 4 year old now is into EVERYTHING and loves guns. He doesn't yet understand the difference between real and toy. He will immediately pick up any gun and start trying to pull the trigger...

Every handgun, hd shotgun and scary black rifle I own has a round in the chamber. The only ones that don't are the semi-auto shotguns I use for trap and bird shooting and bolt guns.

I've shot a bunch of monarch with no issues, but it's all been brass. I'm assuming you're talking about their steel cases? I thought that pretty much all cheap steel case ammo was coated with some type polyurethane?

It is a tough decision, but I think the choice is easy when you consider the fact that anyone who carries a pocket .380 probably likes being dude raped.

I picture guy looking down and picking the flattened bullets from the surface of his chest skin and saying ".380?? Boy you done fucked up now. I'm gonna rape you two times."

You find me a bad guy that will rape you after you put two rounds of .380 in his chest and your claim that .380 is "inferior" will be validated.

I thought I wanted a pocket gun, so I bought an LCP. Then I realized that carrying a gun in my pocket is stupid.
