It's not the healthiest think ever but sometimes for convenience I put a couple pounds of chicKen breast in a crock pot and cover it with either Italian dressing or bbq sauce. Chicken comes out so tender it falls apart while you're trying to pick it up. Anybody know of any other good dressings or sauces to try like this.... the healthier the better.

I do a Mexican chicken recipe like this.

Onions, garlic, chicken thighs or breasts, chicken stock, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, sweet corn, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper. I let it cook until nearly all the chicken stock is reduced and then pull it apart... serve it with some cilantro, crema, shredded cheese, some pickled jalapeños on top... either by itself, over rice or riced cauliflower, in a whole wheat taco or with some chips.

If you don't already do this: Saute' all of the ingredients first before adding the chicken stock and thighs. It'll make it a lot more flavorful.

Don't use a dressing out of a bottle. Make your own. If you use quality ingredients, the relative healthfulness will be dependent upon whether or not you're exercising or not.
