    RC cars n trucks

HobbyTown USA in Duluth might be a "big box" store, but it's also a locally owned, mom and pop run franchise. 90% of the time the owner is on the sales floor or behind the cars/trucks counter. Phillip, the main surface vehicle guy, has been there at least 10, probably 12-15 years. No one knows...

The 1/16 scale stuff can be really fun. I've got the mini revo and my buddy has the rally. You can drift that rally pretty good. He has some friends that set up a big drift course on the slick concrete floor in the back warehouse of his dad's print shop. It's pretty cool to watch.

A couple years ago they did replace an esc that burned up under normal operation, but it wasn't easy to do like with traxxas.

They've never been good about keeping a lot of parts in stock. It's getting hard to find parts for anything that ain't traxxas. I used to be all hpi, but traxxas support, parts availability and customer service is unmatched. I've had them replace motors and esc that I burned up doing stupid shit...

Nah man, nitro is antiquated at this point. Electric seems expensive, but what you spend on batteries and a good charger probably isn't any more than what you'd spend on fuel, pistons and sleeves. The torque and throttle response is on a whole different level. I was hesitant to make the switch...

Let me know if you come out here, I may swing by too. Also, you should check out the Traxxas summit.

    CCW for my wife?

Did she have to shoot them all to decide?

    CCW for my wife?

That's precisely why so many people report ftf with LCP and tcp. Even I have to be conscious of my grip when shooting an LCP. I hate small guns for that very reason. The best shooting small gun I've ever shot is the sig p290. The trigger pull is about a country mile and it's a bit heavy for a...

    CCW for my wife?

You can handle every gun in the case without taking them all to the range. Once you decide on the size, caliber and how you're going to carry it, there won't be that many choices. I'd rather shoot off my big toe than take a woman to the gun shop and tell her to pick one. She's gonna end up with...

    CCW for my wife?

I'd probably try to narrow it down significantly, maybe top 3, then go to the range to make the final decision.

    CCW for my wife?

Phenomenal guns, but I don't see how having a 1911 style gun which needs to be carried condition one is the best option for a ladies purse. Seems kinda unsafe actually. So she's either got it cocked and locked rolling around in her purse with keys and tubes of lipstick(amongst 100 lady related...

    Taurus AR?

I didn't realize you had figured out that was the problem. Last I heard we were blaming bad reloads.

    Taurus AR?

Yes, I do remember that. I guess you almost losing your eye was an ammo related issue.

    Calling all M&P owners

Sub'd for info. I had and M&P and just couldn't get into the striker business back then. Traded it off and now I've finally made the switch to strikers and kinda want a 2.0 to give it another go. I liked the ergonomics of the M&P. The trigger, not so much.
