Do any of the LGS(preferably on the east/northeast side) carry a good selection of 1911 parts? GA gun store maybe? Looking to do some work on one tomorrow if can get the parts without shipping.

I can't help with tomorrow, but I have a few boxes of 1911 parts. Let me know what you're looking for- PM or post is fine. I'd have to mail it to ya, unless you can pick up in Macon

Extended slide stop and matching safety aren't a problem. I don't have any mainspring housings with the mag well attached. I've got springs (mostly) and a couple different triggers.
No problem. A guy gave me enough parts to build 5 1911's... he thought he and his "partner" could just order stuff and start a business building custom 1911s. I fitted one complete pistol together and he gave me all the other parts as payment- not slides or frames, but basically everything else.
Point is, the parts can go for cheap if it will help you out.
