To start off I have built a couple of AR platforms so far. I recently just aquired another lower and am debating on trying a different lpk. So far I have used psa, spikes and cmg. Is there any other notable lpk that I should try. I would like to stay in the same price range and quality. Let's get ready to rumble.

I haven't noticed much difference, hell I used DPMS in my last build and it's been fine. I spend a little extra on the bolt and trigger.

I bought a cheaper one from Palmetto that came with a Magpul grip and Magpul enhanced trigger guard, but didn't have a FCG. Then I added a ALG ACT trigger that I really like for the price.

@Krtismo I also have a spare lpk that you speak of and have considered using that. Heck I may even have a spare fcg. Thanks for reminding me

I used a DMPS on the last build, and the trigger seems better than the one that I used previously from keepshooting.com. The keepshooting franken carbine has lasted thousands of rounds without missing a beat. Please see my add: custom carbine, less than 2 boxes fired, like new in case $1200. Time for another Cutty Sark.

Does new Frontier sell poly lpk? Just wondering.

Not to my knowledge.

I've only purchased the complete lowers.

Great triggers by the way.

I used a White Oak LPK with ALG trigger @ $100 incl shipping.
Trigger is very nice although I prefer a two stage.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to build a rifle or pistol in 5.56/.223. So I just bought 2 lowers and will build one of each. Makes the deciding thing real easy.

Not even. It is all cause the wife wouldn't let me get the 308 at the store. Says she would rather me build one. So I walked out with 2 lowers. See who got the last laugh there.

Sr armory had some brand the other day that really caught my eye. Can't recall the name of it though. Came with everything for a pistol and a cover for the buffer tube. It was real slick and I think around $100. I may be going after that. Going to do a little more research though before I build another one.
