I heard today that former braves pitcher Tommy Hanson died at the age of 29. I hated to hear it. I know he never reached his full potential, but I was a fan. I met him in Rome a few years back and had the opportunity to talk to him for a while, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. I've had several interactions with professional athletes and most are total jerks, so it's nice to meet one that acts like a normal person.
