This is why my sbr (if I ever get one) will be piston driven. Have a few different guns, so why no try something else?

As long as that gun isn't an AR15 platform rifle, why not. That said, I would rather get punched repeatedly in the dick than own a piston AR15 pattern rifle. Talk about a fix for problem that doesn't exist. I have owned a few piston ARs and they were nothing but headaches. No thanks.


By the way, Piston ARs get every bit as dirty shooting suppressed as a DI gun.

Yup this, the extra fouling is from the extra chamber pressure that hangs around longer due to the can, not gas system pressure.
