Older guy here, used to have a few revolvers but I've sold them all over the years or given them to my kids. Im getting up there in years now and my neighborhood is starting to take a turn for the worse so I think the time is good to get another one. I was looking at getting a Smith & Wesson J-frame like a 637, something super light.

Then I stumbled across the Ruger LCR and no im not sure what to choose, or if I should even be looking for something else possibly. Im open to advice from people with some experience in the matter.

Nice site btw, I miss the days of BBS and early internet sites.

The S&W Air weights are a decent little gun for the price. I particularly like the hammerless ones that won't get snagged as easy and fit in your pocket good.

There are a few other options for that price range you can check out too. Rugers are decent, and Taurus makes decent priced ones as well.
