I am kind of excited about this. It's a little pricey compared to other striker fire handguns, but I still may consider one regardless of the thousand dollar price tag if it gets good reviews.

I'm curious about why the area in front of the trigger guard is so low. It makes joining g a light pointless and I hope there is a functional reason to do so other than looks.

They lowered the recoil rod assembly...presumably to reduce muzzle rise and bring the bore axis down.

Thank you. I couldn't watch the video and didn't see that.

If that works as intended it may be a reallly cool gun. Either way I like seeing innovation.

Yeah, the high bore axis is my biggest beef with most modern pistols. Why sig abandoned (for the most part) the superior design of their P210 for their more "modern" P designs is beyond me. I think they too a huge step backward.

Anyway, Viva la Strike One!

I like the idea as a whole and the thought that they put into it, but they completely lose me at the MSRP. Sorry, but there are literally dozens of guns that I would buy at that price that have a proven track record. If it were say 700-800 bucks, I MAY be game.

All of their specs say $1,147 MSRP. Still high, but not that high.
There are still a lot of really solid weapons in that price range.

That's USP tactical $$$

It does look pretty interesting. If it shoots as well as it should in theory, the price seems fine. Lots of shit goes out the window moving from theory to reality though

Price point is too high for a new gun, $700 bucks MAYBE.... But for another 500 bucks I could tune the hell out of these... ( And for a little more cheese, add a Trijicon red dot as well...)
