Quick heads up for the Toyota truck folks...

Just my 2 cents, but the 2022 Tundra will not sell very well. I think the twin turbo V6 will not deliver better fuel economy or performance than the outgoing 5.7 liter engine. I think the difference will be minimal at best. Not to mention that the 5.7 is a bullet proof V8 engine, Albeit a very thirsty engine.

Pic heavy post.

Wagyu is pretty good. I called my brother to come and get the other half, apparently my appetite is still a little weak.

Gotta slice thin though, it is pretty rich like they say. Plus I don't want to burn through it like a $7 sirloin...

Thanks man! The fried garlic pieces with it are really good! I just wish I had my appetite back 100%

The crazy thing is the initial sear is in a dry pan. Before I added the butter, the only oil was the melted fat from the steak. I was really 2nd guessing myself because I'm usually putting in a little olive oil or such

They’re trying to emulate ford’s ecoboost, which I will take over any v8.

Forced induction will never be as reliable as N/A stuff. Idc if it’s a ford or a Toyota. Manufacturers keep adding tech and motor complexity and it’s ruining cars.

And yet the ecoboost have been more reliable the the v8’s. Much less Mx problems, better fuel economy and more powerful.
Then people poopoo the turbos. Diesels have been using turbos for decades.
The ecoboost is a small diesel engine designed to run on gasoline. Genius!!!

we’re also talking about Ford motors :D
if you we’re to compare a ford Eco-boost or Coyote motor to the 4.7 or 5.7 toyota motors there’s no comparison. Same thing with the LS, they’re super reliable V8’s.

What? You don't like the simplicity of the new twin turbo supercharged tiny motor Volvos?

Edit: apparently they're single turbo with a supercharger

Depends on which ecoboost you're talking about.
