Finally got my S&W500

Found one for sale, struck a deal with the guy and picked it up today. Only been wanting this gun for about 4 years now so its about time I got it. Only thing its missing the front sight, but I've already got a replacement on the way. Other than that it looks pretty close to brand new.

Becareful, only load one round at a time at first to see how it goes for you. There is a story on the internet of a lady, blowing her head off with one because she couldn't handle the recoil.

Nope, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Hopefully this weekend I can get out and do some damage with it.


And yeah, I've heard that story but I should be alright.

WOW WOW WOW!!! Those are really nice looking guns, sounds like you got a really good deal for it... good for you. I wonder if the guys fired it and broke the front site off when it hit his head from the recoil..

Actually the front sight was never installed. I'm guessing for this very reason
