I have old pop up camper I am thinking about converting to a tear drop camper. Has anyone else done this? Just looking for some ideas. I think the axle should be good to go as far as weight is concerned as I am hopi g to lighten the load. Probably gonna be pretty much sleep only with an awning off the side for cookn n chilln.

I have thought about building one myself. I just do not have nearly enough time. Maybe in a year or two.

We have a big ass tent though that has enough room for 3 queen size air mattresses and since its just me, my wife, the baby and a dog it is more than enough room.

I love my hammock. But the wife would camp a lot more if she had a nice sleeping quarter's.

Let me know if you need some wood panels. We throw away a ton of plywood panels that are 1/4 to 1/2 thick. They range any where from 12" to 14" by 18"to 24". I have access to tons of pallets and some wooden crates.
