What slings are y'all using on your ARs and how and where do you have them mounted?

I am planning on getting this sling:
https://www.blueforcegear.com/vickers-combat-applications-sling-2-to-1.html

I have the front QD on the left side of the rail as far back to the receiver as possible and the other QD on the endplate. I haven't used a sling enough to have a preference so I may move the attachment points around and I like that that sling can be two or one point.

So what and how do y'all use? As always pictures always make threads better as well.

I mostly have cheap Blackhawk slings like this one.

I'll grab a picture later today- but it's just a plain old web sling.

It carries ok over the shoulder but the big plus for me is being able to get it wrapped around my arm for a "hasty sling" to stabilize the rifle. Makes a huge difference in my opinion.

I used a 3 point sling in the Army. Ugly as hell but the maneuverability was excellent.

The Blue Force Gear VCAS and padded VCAS are the standard by which all others should be measured.
That's what I've always read and why it's the one I plan to get.

Still waffling on padded or unpadded. I also like the two point to one point ability so if I hate one style or the other I don't have to buy a whole new sling.

I started out with the standard versions, but mine are padded now.

I think mine was $12. Can't beat that with a brick bat.

How does it adjust? Is it considered Quick Adjust?
It uses a standard sling adjustment buckle. I guess I haven't timed it, but I can adjust it fast enough if I get fat, or want to lend it to someone that is a different size. I can't imagine it'd take longer than 15 seconds.

Well, that gets back to my statement about what you expect from a sling. A good quick adjustable sling like the VCAS allows you to change lengths almost instantly. This is important for transitions, weak side shooting or stowing the gun quickly & securely for use of both hands.

Yeah, that kind of speed isn't important to me.

Have you considered mounting the back of it on the back of your stock? Cant remember which stock youre running off hand, but its doable with most magpuls and similar.

I can. But that specific VCAS can convert to one point so I needed the endplate with QD. My stock is a standard MOE so it doesn't have a QD spot but a new stock is on my list so I have more mounting options that I can quickly switch between.
