    What is happening in Connecticut......

We do seem to be getting there. Not a good thought at all.

    Keepin' the wife happy

Very nice collection. My wife has multiple elsies too. She tends not to carry though. Her collection is more strategically placed where one might be handy.

    F.B. Radom VIS Model 35 9mm

That's one of those guns you just want to handle and study. Very nice!

    What is happening in Connecticut......

That's one of the reasons NRA membership is worth every penny. You can't stop legislators from perpetrating bad law, but a substantial organization can challenge the legality of its premise and resulting actions. Individually, we would be a speck of dirt under an ill-advised snowball.

Glock is going to have a US-made pocket .380?

My son, who is shopping for his next handgun, already scratched it off his list. Said something about raccoon hunting and worthiness... :-\

When is it time to pull the trigger?

Agreed... I'm expecting any scenario to be a play as it goes situation. I've got to keep my initial responses limited to simple awareness and reaction. What follows... follows.

When is it time to pull the trigger?

There's never going to be a perfect scenario of something like this happening. Even having the gunman facing toward or away from you will make a life or death difference. I'm no hero. My family comes first and making them difficult targets is the priority for me. Keep them low and behind...

When is it time to pull the trigger?

You're in a checkout lane in the store. You're sitting in a pew at church. Choose your circumstances beyond being in a crowd of any size... You see a guy in the crowd pull his weapon. You are armed as well you should be. What do you do?

    22 pump

So dang cool! I've got a nice old lever action that shoots everything from shorts to LR's, but the action is not nearly as clean as your pump. FT...everything, but it holds a lot of ammo in that slide. I went to dig it out and my son must have it down in Akron. So far, possession is 9/10 of...

    A "can't-miss" AR! $10G.

More firearms technology... Don't know if I'd ever have to have it, but if I had the resources, I'd probably want it... http://www.nbcnews.com/technology/smart-rifle-never-misses-now-comes-semi-automatic-form-2D11899302

    Taurus Judge for home defense

My wife says she is much more comfortable having her S&W 637 revolver for HD than any of our semi's or my 870 Thumper. She says she understands the wheel gun: It's reliability, its accuracy, and even its recoil. Her confidence with it exceeds her confidence with anything else. I'm good with that.

    What are you carrying today?

Gained weight over the holidays. The waistband snugged up more than expected. LCP! :D

    A new Remington 9 - under $400 nice!

I was always a Chevy guy. Didn't mean I didn't like the look of a Nissan or a Fiat. I was also a little put-off with the sculpting on the Remington. Hand guns are not in the Remington wheelhouse. That makes it easier to note it weighs more than my LC9, but looks better than a shield with a...

    LC9 added to carry options

LC9 is a great gun. I've found IWB with the LC9 isn't far enough off the LCP as to make the dowsize necessary except in extreme clothing conditions.
