Finally had to tell the NRA to take me off their call list.

I have been swamped with calls from the NRA. Always starts off with the same crap about Obama. I tell them that, first of all, I am a member and have always been one. I then tell them that Obama need not worry, as their is no ammo to even shoot anymore. Then try to get them to understand...

    Pistol range loses again

stopped by the old range yesterday to see what was going on. Noticed my yearly range card was expiring this month and sadly will not be renewing. What is the use? The ammo hoaders have done them a job, just like the rest of us. Instead I will be putting the money to a new air PISTOL that I can...

Liberal woman takes intelligent view and actually seeks the truth

Here is a very interesting article by a Liberal that seems to have more sense in understanding "the right to carry" than many NRA members in the sense that she at least listens to both sides. https://www.creators.com/liberal/connie-schultz/every-woman-with-a-gun-has-a-story.html I thought...

It looks like my reloading days are over and I just started

Appears the days of buying primers are over and bullets for that matter too. I think I would have better luck getting a photo of Sasquatch. This hoarding of everything is nonsense and only hurts the whole industry and sport.

    What .22 ammo?

It appears it will be a long time before powder burner shooting will be normal. Thank God for my pellet rifles and pistols. Check out this video and see what else is out there. Great shooting and hunting and a abundance of ammo. http://www.youtube.com/user/airgunsofarizona/

    Golden bullet rim explosion

Shooting my Ruger SR22p which never fails after thousands of rounds, I had a Remington golden bullet explode at the rim. Shook me up a little. I also shoot a Bersa 22.cal and the gun will only shoot high velocity ammo. And the golden bullets function almost as well as the CCI mini mags.They...

The LC9 and your personal reload

So you love the Lc9? It is a terrific gun. Is factory ammo the best for a Lc9? A one size fits all cartridge? I have shot thousands of rounds through this pistol. I've become very accurate. BUT now have started reloading and am totally a very happy camper with a load that is better suited for...

    380 over pressure

Quote from Skip on "sticky" "DO NOT over-load ammunition for use in the LCP. Doing so can result in rapid and violent disassembly of the pistol (blown up barrel, slide, and frame). We've seen photos of such "Kaboom" incidents here and the Customer Service folks at Ruger tell me that they have...

    What the heck?

Ok, I made the plunge. Now here is my problem. I ordered bullets from Berrys. I ordered FN by mistake instead of RN. No problem. However I clearly ordered 115gr. The two boxes clearly state 115 9mm. However I went to weigh them and they weigh 124!!. What gives with this. I have checked my scale...

Tumblers - What is the advantage?

Ok, I decided to take the plunge and start reloading. I go to the range and quickly pick up 250 casings. I do not want to buy a tumbler at this point and all the crap that goes with one. So I try the vinegar thing, and it works ok. I try pledge and it works better. I then go to Walmart and see...

    Reloading and the very beginner

First of all, I would like to thank Skip for his introduction to reloading info. I'm seriously thinking about getting started, but if I do, it will be very simple. In fact, I am thinking of getting a "Hand Press". I just want to learn. I'm not talking about a lot of rounds or how long it will...
