I would recommend waiting to try a few out and see what fits/what you like. The beretta 390/391 have adjustable "shims" that allow you to get a pretty close fit most of the time. I don't know if other guns offer this. In sporting clays and skeet you can share guns. In trap you need your own gun...

I also love my beretta 390. It is super reliable even with light 2-3/4 loads. I don't think I would go for a pump gun if it's just a sporting gun.

Good review! I wish some other companies would make some affordable pistol caliber carbines. Seems like with a better trigger and some different mag options this would be a good gun. But that may be throwing good money after bad

This is the typical Anti gun argument and part of the problem. Do you think driving a car on public roads is a right? Do you think politicians really have your safety in mind with these laws? Hard to believe some gun owners fall for this stuff

Its been a long time since I've read about this so what are you using in you .380 for self defense. I've started carrying my glock 42 more lately because its convenient and I know the velocity of the .380 limits expansion/penetration. Is there anything new worth looking at?

That's a great idea. Could be good from their perspective as well considering how much people think they shoot vs how much they really do. 99% + of shooters will never come close to shooting out their barrel
