I went to check on him and he hopped in the garage so I put him back since his parents were screaming at me and I gave him a bird bath so maybe he can cool off. It was hot AF under my front doorway where he was. Maybe it helps, I dunno.

Cut the yard today about 11 or so. So hot I saturated my sweat band. Hate getting sweat in my eyes and I've always been a heavy sweater. That didn't sound right. I sweat more than most I think. It is what it is.

Sat in the drive thru and got put on hold for about 5 minutes at Popeye's just for them to tell me they don't have any apple pies. GGRRRR.

I'm fighting dense shade from several magnolia trees, so there's maybe 4 hours of sunlight. While it's not ideal, I'm not sure what else to do. Never had grass problems until this year either.

I hate Magnolia trees, if I had any in my yard, I'd cut every single one of them down. I know they look pretty for a month or so when the flowers are blooming, but the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
