Well, if I get a chance, I'll pick one up, and you can run it in one of your classes for me...
Deal! Or you can bring it to one of my 1911 Operator courses and run it yourself!

Oh BTW I do love the 1911
LOL !!! What do the Singer 1911's go for now a days?
Never mind... I just looked one up, at auction, Hammer price $70,000.00 dollars plus 15% for the auction...
Yes great guns, a friend has one and I will add one to my collection some day. It was a bit of a disappointment though that when he first got it brand new the sights where not properly zeroed from factory, once that was addressed fantastic gun. I haven't checked prices on them for a while but 767 sounds like a good dealAnyone have experience with the S&W E series? I saw one today for 767 out the door. I might go buy it in the morning if they still have it.

I had one, believe I traded it to @ArtVandelay, pretty grips, but I was underwhelmed by the trigger and actionAnyone have experience with the S&W E series? I saw one today for 767 out the door. I might go buy it in the morning if they still have it.
S&W makes a fine 1911. A lot of 1911 guys don't like them because of the external extractor (myself included), but if you aren't a purist it won't matter to you.
I personally won't own a 1911 with an external extractor but it's on principal, not because I think internal is better.
The only holster you need for this baby is a nice g-string (pants optional)
