I am looking to get a threaded barrel for the m&p pro series. There are not many options that I can find for the pro series pistol. So what are some things to consider when purchasing a new (threaded) barrel.

Here are the options that I have been able to find so far. If you have a better opinion on one let me know.

But how will that work work a pistol barrel. Does it not be to be longer to extend from the slide or am I missing something here.
From my understanding they thread the current barrel then put an extension on and thread that.

Seems like it would be more of a hassle than its worth and could possibly cause issues down the road. I wonder if it affects structural integrity of the barrel?

They've been around for a while. One member on OTS had his 5.7 done and had no complaints
