First 100% American Made AK SBR

You heard it on SoutheastTraders FIRST! My source at Century Arms has dropped a teaser on what will be dropping at SHOT Show this year... the first 100% American made AK SBR! The C39V2 SBR 12".

I dig it. I have one of the C39s and it's run just fine for me. Granted it doesn't have a huge round count through it though.

Those C39s from what I have read have done fairly well....Ron from Battlefield LV said they have yet to ear a receiver out....i think the barrel lasted around 30k rounds but who the hell will go through that many as a regular guy?

I'll be very interested in pricing.

I might go through 30K rounds training with it, if it was my primary training rifle.... however you're right, most guys have more than one rifle they train with and not many train actively.

I LOVE AKs, and I will say that i do like the new magpul stuff for them. that is a good looking rifle.

Isn't that a bit difficult with the gas system an a barrel system?

Just don't lay it down next to an amd-65 or you'll start wondering why you dropped an extra 200

I'm just saying the sweet spot for the ak sbr lies from 10.5 and under

You can always make it shorter.

Not without considerable expense...and while I have no doubt Dobbs could do it, it wouldn't be easy. As lax said, 10.5 and under or go home.

That being said, it is cool to see an American made AK SBR come to market.
