What’s the best way to attach a 1-1.5 inch bar two two trees?

How the hell do I attach a bar to two trees for pull-ups?

I was thinking about boring the correct diameter hole into each tree and shoving the bar in there.

anyone with a functional brain have a better idea?

gonna be about 5ft between the trees

No fork in the tree?

Is the tree big enough to suspend bar with chains from a big branch?

Drilling big holes in trees ain't good for them
These are big old pines that are going to come down in the next 3 years, no branches until wayyy to high up.

I guess I could attach the little pipe holder things to the bar and strap it to the trees

Well if they're coming down anyway, yeah, I'd drill 'em like Gage would drill a passed out cop.

Got a spool of paracord? I'd run multiple strands through the pipe and then wrap around the trees. Make sure inside edge of pipe isn't sharp where paracord would touch.

Makes for better pull ups when the bar is free to rotate anyway.

Pics of final product once complete either way you choose to mount.

If the trees are coming down why not just set preassure treated posts in concrete with the bar through them.

3 posts 2 bars so one is high the other lower and everyone can do pull-ups together.

Woods to pricy for me right now, trying to keep purchases to just the bar and whatever I need to attach it

You have wood. It just looks like trees at the moment.
Get @Matt Ellerbee to bring a badass chainsaw over. I’m sure he can Turn them in to “set beams”. You’ll just have to wait for the sap to quit flowing.

I'd bet that I have some posts laying behind my garage you can have. What size pole you think you need? I may have something that'd work for that too
