I’m not purposefully not-posting. I’ve seriously found very little time to hang out on here over the last year. It’s been an eventful 12 mos. Every aspect of my life has changed.

Daughter got married this time last year.
Got COVID after Christmas.
Changed jobs in March.
Found out I had cancer in April.
Daughter and son-in-law moved to Savannah in June.
Went on beach vacation in July
Went on camping vacation in August
Had 3 cancer-related surgeries.
Currently doing infusions every 3 weeks.
Sold my house.
Sold my land.
Bought a house in Richmond Hill.
Moved.

February was pretty uneventful.
Dang buddy. I can relate on some of that.

Sucks to wake up and not be able to smell the coffee.
I’ve lost my sense of smell. At least I can still taste it. For now.

Loss of smell and taste are the signs of zinc deficiency. Body uses up the zinc fighting the virus. Mine were gone for 3 days.

I've been taking quite a bit of zinc and my smell still isn't 100% 5 weeks later.

Zinc is not easily absorbed by the cells. There is still a daily intake limit, though, because too much zinc long term will hinder copper absorption. Copper is used by the heart and nervous system.
Hydroxychlopoquine and quercetin are ionofors, they change the charge on the zinc molecules and make more absorbable.
I took quercetin with my zinc when I was sick, plus other meds and supplements.
