Yep! And it gets treated with bark tea to ensure consistent results. Ive been following this guide and its been working great. Got some more pieces done this week. Those boxes look great!

Well, got a fair sized piece of "Mexican ebony"... damn hard stuff.

@lesptr ... according to my limited online reading, this wood is rot proof. And more or less indestructible (for wood). Might make a good shower stool material.


Also have a piece of chakte viga... feels super dense. Neat pattern. Might destroy my saw blades.
