The slide release I don't think will be an issue for me. Robar coats and polishes all that stuff. I think I might go 9mm since I can get a threaded barrel. If they offered a Shield .45 threaded barrel I'd definitely go that route. I really am surprised they don't.

I'm thinking of getting a shield. Found a good price on a FDE 9mm w/ safety (I know, I know, but it's what they have) but am also kinda liking the idea of a .45. I'd like to ultimately turn it into an ASP 2.0.

Thoughts? Also, if any of you have a shield you want to get rid of let me know.

Nope. Not at all. I like it. The window cut in the mag, the micro red dot (the new version is even smaller and fits the slide better) upgraded trigger, TLR6. Not too crazy about the really aggressive stipple job. I'd rather have stippling on the front and back straps and leave the side panels kind of plain.

Ewe. we’re not friends anymore.

You don’t need a red dot on sub compact. Or any defensive handgun for that matter.

You don’t need a window for a 7 rd capacity gun. What you need is higher capacity.
