My .22 suppressor host is an awesome GSG 1911-22. I love the gun, however when using .22 Quiets, it won't cycle automatically. I have to manually manipulate the slide to eject and load the next round.

Anyone have any better luck with any other .22 suppressor host pistols?

I could be wrong, ( normally I am) but quiets do not have enough blow back. I think if you go just sub sonic might work? I dont have a .22 suppesed gun so just a guess.

Have you tried "CCI Standard Velocity"? They are subsonic and still cycle my .22 AR

I don't have a single semi that will cycle Quiets. Ruger SR22, 22/45 Lite, GSG 1911, HK 416D. Not a single one of them will cycle. CCI standard stays subsonic, so they are my go-to now.

CCI Standard all day for a pistol under 4.5"! Quiets for bolt gun in the woods, when you don't want other squirrels to hear you!

I picked up a beretta 71, but havent shot it much yet. It did cycle some quiets. But pretty much every other 22 ive shot wont cycle those. I much prefer cci standard

If you absolutely have to run quiets, get a bolt gun. It will be quieter than running the semis in the 1911-22 as well.

If you must shoot quiets, get a pellet gun. More energy and legal to shoot at your house too.

Quiets, what the fuck?

I'm going to step outside and do a few unsuppressed mag dumps.

I live on a golf course, and occasionally a wild varmint can make its way onto our deck and threaten a certain someone's (ms dougiemac' white fluff ball of a dog) pet and the varmint threat needs to be removed. Quiets have been my best option.

And according to our community HOA, even pellet guns are a no-no. They're literally anti-American freedom hating nazis.

No PELLET guns!?! What ass hats. I can't imagine. I hate living in my subdivision as it is. And we don't have an HOA. Always hated the idea of paying someone to tell me what I can do with my property. Guess I'd be running some quiets too. Sometimes business just has to be taken care of.

Yeah this was the marriage compromise. She wanted Midtown and I wanted Blue Ridge, so Woodstock it was.

Thankfully my wife is probably more antisocial than me. We've talked about moving to Chattanooga. I want a log cabin and at least 5 acres so I can shoot on my own land. And justify a John Deere. Lol. I miss growing up on the farm.

The vast majority of HOA's don't allow guns, including pellet guns. Pellet guns are pretty load anyways.

Heritage Rough Rider $125 is the best solution if you want a pistol otherwise a bolt gun will have to do.
