The same anger, hatred and pain I felt 14 years ago is still as fresh today as it was then. Every September I think, this year will not hit me as hard. However, every September I am proven wrong. I need to step away from social media, including this forum today. My emotions are not in a socially acceptable place today. #NeverForget #NeverForgive #GodBlessAmerica

When recollected, pain, suffering, and anger stay with you in the present. There's a difference between condoning an action, and letting it stay in the past as to not let it spoil you present and future. Harboring anger is physically and mentally detrimental. I'm not giving any terrorist organization that kind of eternal power over me.

Everyone has their own way, but I truly believe it's best to let go. That doesn't mean you don't remember or pay respects, it just means that you finally render the terrorists powerless over your thoughts.

I will remember, but I am not going to let it rule my emotions and actions.

I am over it, I am moving on, and putting this asa footnote in my life's history book.
