A buddy talked me in to doing the Bataan Death Mach Marathon in March. I started training specifically for it yesterday. 10.25 ugly hills with a bunch of canned goods in my ALICE pack....I'm feeling it. Plan is up the long run by two miles/two pounds each week until race.

I'm signed up as "civilian-heavy" which means I have to complete the 26.2 across the desert with backpack weighing minimum of 35 lbs.

There's this hipster using a Bosch jigsaw with a rubber ball at the end of the blade as massage tool. He's been at it for a solid 20 minutes and hasn't done a single exercise.....and I'm pretty sure he just tried to out it in his butt.

I just found out the Bataan Death March next month has over three times the elevation change than I thought it did....I didn't notice the map was in meters, not feet. Who the hell draws a map in meters?

Ran 7 yesterday, ran 2.15 a while ago. Bring on the suck!

I've been slacking badly, but did a 5 miler last Saturday. I'll get back at it when the whether gets nicer.
