I did an episode of insanity yesterday and im struggling to walk today. Don't feel bad haha
The route I did yesterday I’ve been doing for a year. Last fall I averaged 7:40 on this route and rarely had to stop for traffic. Lots of hills, good route. Yesterday I had to stop three times because I was freaking winded and averaged 8:24. Fack. I just lost a summers worth of hard work.
Its depressing how long the human body takes to get into shape and how fast it all can go away!
There are some little tricks to getting things done faster or regaining lost gains but yea, hard to build and easy to lose.

Ok that made me legitimately laugh out loud.
Ran 11 miles Wed, getting ready for a half marathon a week from tomorrow. I freakin' hate running on pavement, but the half in Arkansas is in town, and in October I'm running the USMC Marathon with my awesome Marine son.
This summer's gonna be a mix of trails, hills and concrete.
5.68 miles 8 mins/mile....ugh
