    This could solve the problem of carrying on a cruise ship. I do wonder if it could clear a metal detector.

    Ive gotten through a few detectors with a knife tucked behind the belt buckle.

    The few times I've had "belt buckle trouble" during a wanding, they made me make a fist around the belt buckle and re-wanded... and it didn' go off.
