I had looked at an AR12 a long while back and just never bought one. I have a Remington 1100 and the NFA shotty. I have not really shot either.

Damn I forgot you had that super shorty 12 gauge. I bet that thing is fun as hell to shoot. Have you ever shot slugs out of it?
Yeah, it kicks pretty hard. Next time around at the Hossienda I will bring it and the AR47. I also have some of the Aguila shorties I wanna try.

No kidding about the reloading being slow... at our matches, the stage is won or lost based on shotgun reloading. That's one of the only things I practice before a match.
How many rounds do you shoot with the shotgun? I have a 930 with extension tube. Holds 13+1. 15 if you ghost load it.

Gotcha, didn’t know there was a limit. Do you shoot the 8 then load 8 more? Or only enough to finish the shoot?
You can load 8, then reload as required... the are always more than 8 rounds required.

Basically, I think they made the rule for the one guy that has a Benelli with a tube 12" past the muzzle.

If this is the same one Academy had on Black Friday it's pretty nice. My son's roommate bought one and I had a chance to shoot it. It took a bit to figure out the best tune for the adjustable gas block but ran solid afterwards.
