So I finally got the ejection issue sorted out thanks to the guys at GA Firing Line. They were quick and fair in my opinion. $35 labor and a box of range ammo (which is overpriced but whatever) to determine that my ejector was poorly aligned and needed to be altered, and then taking care of that.

They also let me know I should not have a washer under my can, but my threads for far too long on the barrel for the can to shoulder against it without one. They offered a couple dollar fix to add a spacer or to pull the barrel and trim it up on the lathe for a whopping $40... I chose the latter of course. So for all of $90 im in good shape.

Andy also mentioned he shoots 9mm carbines personally and mine is VERY brash due to the buffer system. As he was explaining this to me, I was like DUH I freaking bought the stuff as a kit not meant to be suppressed. So of course the buffer is too light and therefore my gun is taking a beating with one quarter the original barrel length and a can on the end... So I just purchased his recommendation of the adjustable weight kit from Slash's Heavy Buffers found here http://heavybuffers.com/9qt.html with the optional wolf xp spring. Now I can actually tune this thing to a good weight.

Im stoked... Just sayin.

Sounds like a cheaper alternative than throwing some new parts at it!

It was lol. Especially considering the bolt and magwell block are both fine. So I would have spent $400 in parts to realize it still wouldn't work lol.

Great News @Leshaire happy for you. Check that ejector first next time right. You know what to look for now. Yeah getting that heavy buffer and spring otta do you good running suppressed from here on out. Sounds like GA Firing Line was fair about pricing and got you back operating again.

That's awesome buddy. I know that rifle had been bothering you.

GFL is a great shop. I live almost directly behind adventure outdoors and still drive to GFL to shop and shoot most of the time.

What weight buffer did they recommend suppressed?

They recommend 12 oz!! But I bought the adjustable weight kit to go up or down from there. I've heard of people running from about 9-13 oz on canned ar9s.

Yeah man I'm pretty pumped. I have a lot of money in that thing for it to sit around not working the last few months lol.

Haha yeah although I typically avoid shooting at GFL because you can't shoot pistols and rifles in the same lanes... I usually drive up to BWG to shoot.

Good to know! I was looking at getting the Spikes Tactical 9mm heavy buffer, it weighs in just under 8oz. Their website says that its good for suppressed.
