If you stand in front of a mirror and look at your back, you might find the one Benchmade just put there.

I had to think for a second as to whether they'd stabbed me in the back or stuffed it .... nevermind.

I have no plans to buy any BMs or MTs at the moment... found this earlier:

https://bladeops.com/microtech-dirac-dagger-otf-auto-knife-black-blade-proof-run/

Yeah- $300+, so I'm out.

There are too many others out there I want to consider another MT at the moment.

That's a proof run so they normally go for more than the production models. I haven't heard an MSRP for the Dirac yet though so I could be wrong. I have no idea.

I hate to say it, but the Lightning OTF I bought is pretty slick for the price. $20 on sale at Blade HQ... the blade is loose, but snaps in and out pretty nicely.
Yeah, I bought one of those a while back too. I sharpened the fuck out of it and threw it in my IFAK.

And I did like the feel of Benchmade's side switch at Blade last year. And it was a lot easier to push than the Ultratech's switch... but the Benchmade was like $400. And I slowly backed away from the booth.
Yeah, the Infidel has always been overpriced for the quality you get and compared to other similar blades on the market IMO. That was a live and learn moment for me.

@Jake I forgot to let you fondle the RCT blade while we were at the Hossienda. Remind me next time.

This new Currahee fixed blade I saw on their IG today looks pretty sweet too. I'm not normally a fan of anything from MT other than their OTF's but this fixed blade looks pretty badass...
