So i want a nice folder for Christmas. I think I'd like a bearing opening mechanism. And it definitely needs a blade between 3 1/2 and 4 inches.

Autos are ok, not necessary. Already have an Ultratech (and autos for that matter). But I've never owned a nice folder.

My only other criteria is the total thickness needs to come in at about a half inch or less.

I've been seriously looking at a Zero Tolerance 0095. Bearing opener, titanium scales, and a great reputation.

Now, throw out some other suggestions...

Nothing wrong with ZT. If the budget works, consider a Sebenza. They are truly excellent knives.

I will definitely look at them. I looked at a couple benchmades too.

Only issue with the sebenza usa the thumb stud. I really don't like them anymore- gotten too used to the Kershaw style opener on the back of the spine.

I was in your shoes about 6 months ago. Ended up going with a ZT 0562cf.

I really like the look of that ZT 95 but I don’t like a blade that is all belly. Also the Kershaw Link is damn near the same knife for half the price.

For the money and warranty, ZT is the best value for an EDC folder. I have a 350 that is my go to and I love it.

Nice. I think that a 350 is going to be my next folder purchase.
