Anyone have a factory 300BLK in a pistol or rifle config that they’re looking to dump? Hit me up. I’m thinking of selling my Ruger RPR .308 and switching to a 300BLK for some hunting.

What changed your mind ... that 308 has a ton of options not to mention knock down.
Are you wanting to go shorter/lighter with supers on the 300BLK ?

For me, the weight is a large factor.

Why carry a heavy 308 (AR-10 variant) when I'm typically hunting 100 yards in?

yeah like it’s been said in this thread... weight of the gun. I’m hiking a mile or so back in the woods to my stand, I’m not Loving the idea of lugging this heavier gun into the woods. I may go back to a lighter bolt action .308 as well. My so. Will start hunting with me this year and I’d also like to equip him with something smaller that I can put a can on for his hearing protection.

Model 7 Remington or better yet if you can find one the Model TI 700 , I have the TI in 308 its like carrying a red ryder around
