Looking for a used complete trigger group for a Ruger 10/22.
Silver preference but black will work.
Also looking for a complete bolt and charging handle
Located in Cartersville, GA.

Somewhat close or be willing to ship

I just replaced a crappy stock 10/22 trigger with the BX trigger. The BX is nicer than stock, but I’m not sure if it is $70 nicer. I was thinking of sending the Stock trigger assembly to Brimstone to have them rework it.

But, how much you offering?

They are usually 40 bucks for a complete poly factory trigger group if you haven't fired it outside of gun.

Get a bx trigger.

Use code rfc for a 5% discount

I think im going to see what brimstone’s work can do on this one. And then im going to try Kidd trigger/hammer kit to see what’s better.

Once all that testing is done, I might be ready to let one go.

You get a BX trigger, lol
I like Tony KIDD for the bench guns.

I build my own triggers too
Old school metal housing and do my thang too it
shim the controls so nothing wobbles, install pretravel, install overtravel and swap out all the springs.
I do a little work to the hammer and sear, mostly matching, deburr and touch of polishing

I wish I had this skills.
I can swap parts and dremel, but that’s about it.

I use diamond stones and a jig to match parts, fairly easy.
Installing pre travel and over travel is just drilling, tapping and set screws then green locktite when adjusted properly.
Dremel is good for deburring and polishing small parts.

I also have a bolt squaring jig plus I'll take a bolt to a bench grinder to contour the cocking surface then polish for smoother cycling and easier charging.

10/22 is an easy to mod platform

Sounds like a deal
Just let me know.
And put it in a zip lock before boxing or padded envelope, as the pins will fall out during shipping and parts will be flopping around and maybe escape. LoL
Hammer cocked, safety on and tape around the Ziploc is what I do but nothing OCD with the tape.
Pins are in a bind if cocked.
I learned the hard way and had to send spare parts to a guy once.

Now that i know you want it, I'll go look a little harder. I checked my 'gun smith' tool box and didn't find it. I've got a couple more places to look.

Interested, whatcha need for it shipped to 30120
Got the band too? Or did you have to reuse yours?

I don't have the barrel band with the stock unfortunately. Would you like to do a trade of my 10/22 stock and maybe some surplus 5.45 ammo, and I drive to you. For a plum AK74 mag?

I just jumped on here to delete that wtb post and comment I didn't need any parts now

I have that custom 10/22 rifle traded off as is with all high dollar parts and upgrades with the nice walnut stock.
I was gonna swap out to factory parts for the guy to downgrade it so a he didn't have to add cash on his end but he came up with cash and just waiting on a confirmation of meeting time and such from him.
