Well, what if theoretically you’re killing and eating stuff along the way? I’d bring spices and something to cook fish and/or game in/on.
Well then really the only thing you need is a good knife or small axe and someway to start a fire cause almost damn near anything your gunna kill to eat wont be needing a plate.

You will be roasting it over a spit or on top of some charcoal. #noplatesneeded

And a pot of some sort to boil water or make coffee/soup/stew.

The Stanley sets are decent. I have been using one of these for 2 years now as my go-too and its held up well. Rip off the stupid plastic tab on the lid though cause that thing will met the first time you use it in a fire

I’ve seen that set several times an wondered about it. A lot of times they will have them marked down at discount stores like Ross or Marshalls for really cheap.
