My LCP has beat up 2 guide rods since I purchased it 2 years ago. They still work, no failures, but they look pretty bad. So, ordered a stainless BT Guide rod and we'll see how it does. Put 50 rounds downrange yesterday and there are no marks at all. So far, so good!

They can be found at:

Red, you don't need the disclaimer for the BT rod. It doesn't alter anything (I was the guinea pig way back) but does hold up better long term if you shoot your LCP a lot and are concerned about wear and tear on the stock rod but don't want to keep replacing.

Good choice redmond. My Elsie original guide rod developed groove marks on the rod, so I switched to the BT. The BT has lost some color, but no more groove/marring on the rod. Yogi 8)
