Always have a knife

My father taught me, from the age of 10, always have a knife. Hopefully, I passed that along to my son as well.

There are a few things that I have every day that I'm on my feet... a knife, a pen, and a lighter. Technology has advanced to the point that you can carry fire in your pocket. And I'm not talking about a sparky piece of metal, I mean actual fire.

About a year ago I added a streamlight pen sized flashlight. I use it more than I every thought I would and it's a permanent addition to my pocket stuff now.

I don't know how people get through the day without a knife and a flashlight. I'm always stunned when people bitch about the packaging on stuff and I say "Just cut it open" and they say "With what?"

I was never a daily knife carrier until I got one from my secret santa in 2017. I never leave the hous without one now. I would feel nekkid without it.

I was the same way with my multi tool. Don’t see how I made it without it!

And now that I’ve got a good holster for it, it’s always on me!

I also carry this while at work.
