Okay, playing with the camera and app today and figured out how to view camera image and control recording with app. You could actually use camera as a short term security camera by mounting in area to monitor and you have instant web cam. I would recommend plugging camera up to an outlet for extended use. I think I read in manual that it auto shuts off after 10 mins of no use.
You can take burst photo series and time lapse as well. So far, the little bit of time I have had to play with it, I am really liking it.
I am hoping to get to take it shooting this week. I will just have to figure how to upload video. I have a YouTube account but never used it. Also, I would love to be able to edit videos as well.

No way am I watching your amateur porn
Love your job and you'll never work a day in your life.
Actually, it was the storm cell that had rotation prompting tornado warning. Kinda like my open. Lots of white and gray blobs with plenty of moisture. The nice thing was, the camera was behind closed curtains and I was watching image on my phone. Don't worry, haven't quit my day job yet. @Red Dawn has it for his weekend at Appleseed shoot so I am sure he will have some more tantalizing video.
Loving the footage, now I'm jumping on it. Wondering the durability and compatibility with GoPro mounts and cases
100% compatible with GoPro mounts and with the waterproof case good to 100 meter.
