I've been to a number of M&Gs in the past as well as swap meets (way more fun IMO), but I don't see much of a point in going when I'm not on the site very often anymore.

I still get a fair amount of gunsmith business from there....so it's a business decision for me to attend.

second is my 10.3” 1:7 CHF/CL FSB MK18 Mod-0 barrel I’ll replace my PSA phosphate 10.5” barrel I’ve been hammering on for awhile. It will be very nice!

I’ll let it die naturally but then she’s getting a new cold hammer forged chrome lined MK18 barrel screwed and shoved into her lubed up receiver hole. That should be the last barrel change for Awhileeeee

I haven't either. I've had buddies assemble AR lowers while I watched, but this is my first AR. I figure I need to do it myself, so I can work on it when it breaks.

Tape up the lower real well, easy to mark up the lower especially when installing the bolt catch pin

I have all BCM parts (except it will have an URGI rail) for a BCM upper to put on a factory BCM lower. Never built an AR before. How badly can I screw it up?

I use blue painters tape

I also use a wood shim with a groove to get the pin started
