So much want with that .44 Mag. You hardly ever see those old .44 Mag pre-cross-bolt safety, micro groove JM stamped .44 Mags for sale anymore. Honestly, you're probably not asking enough for that one. It would be gone in no time on the Marlin Forum for at least $750-$800.

Well I joined Marlin.com and got scolded in my first post.
I inquired as to the value of the firearm b/c I was thinking about selling it, and that was the straw that broke the Moderators back. Apparently, because I mentioned "might sell it" that's "fishing"...For a sale? well I wanted to tell him i do have a fishing license but I refrained....
    very particular over there

Marlinowners.com is where I've always gone but I just looked over there and it appears that they've removed "The Trading Post" section? :noidea:

Back a few years ago I sold a couple old 336's on there for about $100 more than I had them listed for on ODT with no bites at all for 2 weeks. Listed them on Marlin Owners and they were gone the same day.

So on my first post 1 had a 5 point infraction b/c I had my web site listed in my signature and also had the post removed. Not sure Ill be re visiting

Yeah, they're strict about advertising without a dealer badge. They really just want the money. I obviously never had an issue because I'm not a dealer but I can see how that'd be annoying and turn you off to the place. They could have at least just sent you a PM and said something instead of giving you an infraction right off the bat. They're not too big on joking around or getting off topic whatsoever on there either. I really just used the place for info and to buy/sell/trade.
