You have to wait for approval, and sorry. You won't get it back in time. 2-4 weeks average.

The Sig 556 was nice, but an absolute brick of a 5.56. Sign me up for the new Galil.

    what to buy now?

Yerp. I'm actually going to move over to bolt action rifles a bit more. I've been wanting a 6.5 creedmoor with some good glass. I stacked enough ammo for a good long while, but I'll still continue to purchase given the commodities market.

    S&W Name Change ?

What a terrible idea, especially considering the long and ambiguous choice. In a marketing era where companies are shortening their names and creating a more concise image, Smith is going backward. "Whatcha shooting there partner?" "Oh, just my new American Outdoors Brand Corporation Model 629"

    Final panic buy

I bought one from a cop south of town over on the ODT a couple years back. He only wanted to trade but I wanted it so badly I offered $675....... that forced him to sell it to me. lol, it was fucking awesome. I can't remember why I sold it. Stupidity and boredom most likely.

Who else is (hopefully) a month or less away?

That's sure possible, but lots of mid April submissions are going through. The graph pretty much predicted my Form 1 perfectly. http://www.nfatracker.com/nfa-transfer-time-tracking/

Who else is (hopefully) a month or less away?

The good thing is that approval times have steadied out. For a while it was looking like 10 months or more.

Who else is (hopefully) a month or less away?

Yeah, that'll be mid to late January.

Yeah, this is the type of impatience that I can enjoy. Thanks for listening, maybe one of these days you'll actually learn something.

    Night Vision Recomendations

I agree. I had a Gen III ITT monocular back in 2004ish and it was good enough to drive 55 mph on backwoods gravel roads at midnight in Nebraska with the lights off, and shoot coyotes using a pistol at bow range. I demo'd a GenI and II and they were miles behind, not worth the reduction in...

Who else is (hopefully) a month or less away?

Yeah, I honestly think it'll be early to mid December. Fingers crossed. As soon as they get here my ammo stash will take a serious hit.
