What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

Hey, it's bigger than any buck I've ever killed. I just gotta pick on someone. Lol

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

@Willy Leadwell Either way, I would buy a charger. Specifically a takedown. I see it as a really compact alternative to carrying a full size 10/22. Deploy the bipod and you're accurate to just about the same range. (With practice) You can literally stash it about anywhere. Truck, car, smart...

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

You should get an AR pistol. I hear they're good for small deer. Lol.

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

Willy, you're such an asshole. I love it. Lol. And I've been drinking. So SET is funnier at this particular moment.

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

Oh, is that an option!?! Give me a donkey dick then! Lol. No, I'll keep my donkey dick on my AR until I finally break down and SBR it.

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

Well duh. That's what I said. Makes no sense. You'd have to cut and thread the barrel anyway. Might as well buy a rifle. Gotta keep those bulk rounds subsonic. Lol

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

I had 2 Contenders and a butt load of barrels 30/30, 7/30, .223, .22lr, .45/.410. Stupid accurate and a lot of fun. I'd love to take a charger and put a single point sling mount at the very back of it, add an AFG, and a decent red dot. I think it would be a cool trail gun.

What is the appeal of the Ruger Charger?

Why would you have to cut or replace the barrel on a charger? They're already threaded mostly. And it's cheaper to buy an AGP side folder than a new barrel. I'm with @boss_hawg . If you're on a farm roaming the property and see some manner of vermin that needs to be blasterized, this will deploy...

    Lightweight billet AR receiver

I can kinda see the lower. I'd probably run one of those. The upper however.... Negative.

    Lightweight billet AR receiver

That's what I thought..... I guess since the gas key is up higher in the receiver it's kinda blocked in the channel..... Still don't feel comfortable with it....

    Lightweight billet AR receiver

OK, I saw this at Brownells and thought WTF? How do you not get a face full of gas Everytime you fire? I'm a huge fan of going light. But, I don't know how I feel about this..... What say you...

    3 gun

Nah. Should be good. Your reload will probably be the fastest on the field. Lol

    3 gun

Yeah man, I'd be game. You can run my M2 if we find a true 3 gun match relatively close. I can't remember if it's 26 or 28" which is long but usable. I already have the extended tube for it.

    3 gun

I planned on getting into as well. Never had anyone to go with or really get advice from. Did a lot of research on guns, not too much on equipment though. I decided to go with a Benelli M2 for my shotgun. That thing is amazing. Never had a single issue. Of course I've never had it out on the 3...

    Next is a 6.5G Build

Will the 6.5 do that effectively in a 12" configuration? I know you're the long range guru, I'd like your opinion on it. I just figured you'd want at least an 18".

Same here. My the favorite are my 10/22 Takedown, M&P 15-22, and my Sig 522 SWAT. I paid a chunk for that last one. Lol. But it's the most reliable of all my 22s. And that's including my Henry lever action.
