When I got my Spectre II took it apart, heated it and soaked the baffles in DOT5 brake fluid(silicone oil). There was some debate on whether or not this works. I've got a couple thousand rounds through it now, I need to clean it and see what the verdict is.

Can you leave run the heat without running the sonic? If I know I'm going to be doing a lot of cleaning that day, I just leave the heat on. Starting with hot water really helps too. Mine takes a good 45 minutes to an hour to get the water up to 120.

I put my Sig with factory night sights in with no problems and my cleaner is 780 watts. So I would think yours would be fine.

I wish I had known about the ARC22 and got in on the evercore before I bought the Spectre. I did get in on the .30 though. Still waiting for that one.

for the same money as a Spectre II, I'll take the Spectre II every time. Until this thing is proven in time to be superior, but I don't see that happening.
