I'm not super excited about my SPECWAR anymore, but I also don't think I want to send it down range.

I guess you just sit it on the barrel? As in, not tighten the threads? That's a baffle strike most likely.

I was thinking firing blanks!

6 MOA POI shift... at least it's repeatable (always down at 6 o'clock). It's heavy too. And frankly, I can't tell a difference in the sound between it and my mini-Grunt. I'd take the little mini over the SPECWAR every time.

See, back when I bought the SPECWAR, I thought I needed a quick detach can... turns out that was wrong.

And the POI shift made me take off the fixed Troy rear sight because it has no elevation adjustment (and there's no way I'm adjusting the front post every time the can goes on/off).
