I want my Colt 6920 to look like this rifle. It already has a shaved FSB, but what rail is this?

The screws at the back remind me a bit of the DD M4 rails- I think the original ones went around the FSB. Later ones were different.

Any idea on length? That rifle looks perfect to me.

Looks like a 10 inch DDM4 rail. Midlenth has system leaving the gas block exposed.

Hmm. I like that style of grip panel, but damn those DDM4 lite rails are $350. Are they that good or is that just the DD premium? Any viable lite weight alternatives?

They are good. You do pay a premium though. It's a DD, they have military contracts, etc. Personally for me, and the way the industry is moving is full quad rails are phasing out. They are heavy with lots of unnecessary weight in all the rails. Go mlok and add rails or specific attachments where you need/want them. If quad rails float your boat, then by all means, go for it. Nothing wrong with them, you can just go better now.
