I'm looking to build a stockpile of target grade ammo for a few of my guns. Particularlly 9mm, .223, and .45 ACP. Any body know the best places to get bulk ammo cheap.

Honestly I'll go to Walmart for 115gr fmj for 9mm, 45.00 per box of 200 rds, other than that Natchez for bulk ammo for 1,000 rds or more, .223 Natchez unless you got a buddy that reloads then ya can't go wrong

Freedommunitions sells new and reman ammo. I've bought from them numerous times (both new and reman) and never had a problem. They have free shipping for your first order or if your a returning customer they have a special $7.50 flat rate this month. If you're not a reloader they have a brass exchange program that can save you even more money.

Prices and availability vary just like other places. It's close to me so I can either walk in, call or order online and not pay shipping.

My local Wally World has Federal Champion aluminum case ammo for $9.97 for 9mm. I shoot that and some Freedom Munitions reloads. It's not bad, but the Federal seems more accurate.

I use freedom munitions myself for target ammo. I usually buy their remans or if im lucky enough I can get their blemish stock from time to time for super cheap stuff. Trust me no one cares what the ammo going down range looks like, long as it goes.

I have shot several hundred rounds of Perfect 115gr 9mm bought from Walmart at $9.78/box with no issues. Runs great for me. I haven't used their rifle ammo but would definitely give it a try. PSA was running a sale on Federal Champion 115gr 9mm, but shipping always hurts. My go to stockpile rifle ammo is PMC Bronze. I've shot thousands of rounds and have absolutely NO complaints for the price. Another good one is Wolf Gold which can usually be picked up at a decent price from AIM Surplus from Middletown, OH.

Victor Silva]I've been contemplating learning to make my own ammo seems to complicated though
It's really not that bad once you get it all set up. I've been reloading handgun for about 10 years. [URL="https://www.southeasttraders.com/profile/263-dirtbike/ said:
@Dirtbike just got his press up and running a month or two ago. It's worth the investment!

I also vote for freedom munitions. I've bought a bunch of their remans in various calibers and its always shot perfectly. Hard to beat for the price

Got an email a bit ago from ammunitionstore.com.

1000 round case of Wolf reloadable brass case 223/5.56 for $296 plus tax. Also 124 grain Blazer 9mm for $196 plus tax. I got a case of each. Should have enough stock to start reloading this winter (after I fire through some of this stuff) once I get parts together to do so.

Hi Dirtbike...

1. Have you figured out what your cost is to produce 1 9mm 124gr round or 1000 of the same after purchasing all the stuff you need?

2. How much did it cost for all your equipment needed to produce that 1 round or 1000 rounds.

I too have been thinking about re-loading but never really had mental power to remember this when I was at my computer to check :)

Thanks appreciate your reply...
